Story
Tony Williams (1945–1997) joined Miles Davis at 17, in 1963. He stretched, halved and doubled time, and it still held. The ride cymbal is where Beatbrush hears it, so the cymbal became the graphic: seen from above, repeated like strokes. RIDE holds the time. STRETCH bends it. 17 is the age he walked into the room.
